What to wear

I am happy and willing to photograph you in whatever you'd like to wear. I know that just coordinating everyone in one place is really hard. I do have some things to suggest however if you want to go for a timeless look.

1. Pick a Color Palette
   Choose 3–4 coordinating colors (like earth tones, jewel tones, or fall colors) and share it with the group to keep things cohesive.

2. Don’t Be Too Matchy-Matchy
   Avoid everyone wearing identical outfits. Coordinated looks are more modern and flattering than exact matches.

3. No “Odd One Out”
   Make sure no one shows up in a color that stands out from the rest—it will pull all the focus in the final image.

4. Use Neutrals as a Base
   Start with neutrals like beige, gray, cream, or denim and weave in subtle pops of color through accessories or a baby outfit.

5. Go Bold—With a Plan
   Love color? Great! Just keep all bold tones within the same palette so the photo still feels unified.

7. Think About the Setting
   Dress to complement the location—earthy tones for forests, light tones for beaches, deeper tones for fall or indoor shoots.

8. Limit Busy Patterns
   A few simple prints are okay, but too many can feel chaotic. Stick with solids or small-scale patterns.

9. Layers Add Interest
   Layered looks (like cardigans, vests, scarves) add texture and allow flexibility if weather or lighting changes.

10. Plan Ahead Together
    Have everyone lay out their outfit in advance and snap a quick photo to make sure the group looks good together.
